Tipping is very common and is expected by small service providers,  guides etc. 20 EGP is around 1.2 USD and 50 EGP is around 2.75 USD, 100 EGP is approx 5.5 USD etc.

Luxor, Valley of Kings :  If you like to take photos of the Tombs an additional Fee of approx 300 EGP applicable. Additional entry ticket and fee applicable to visit The Tomb of King Tutankham, not to be missed while at Valley of Kings.

Power Point : For Egypt there are two associated plug types C and F. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins and plug type F is the plug which has two round pins with two earth clips on the side. Egypt operates on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz. Better to have  a universal power adapter with you.
